Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Human Resource Development (HRD), Govt. of India.

Ever since its inception in 1965, it has been the endeavor of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan to pursue excellence and set pace in the field of school education and to develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of “Indianness” among children.

Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, Regional Office Raipur came into existence on 1st April 2012. One of the 25 Regions of KVS, Raipur Region has jurisdiction over 35 KVs (including 01 double shift KV) located in Chhattisgarh catering to the educational requirements of 30467 students as on 30.09.2018.
